How important is rest and relaxation, really? I should be resting right now, especially since I am staying the night, at a world-class, Courtyard Marriott Hotel, where there is a jacuzzi and a swimming pool and me and my best friend had dinner and a glass of red wine, earlier. Instead, I found the work station and that is where I posted up until about 1:30 AM. I love my job as a blogger so much that if I am not blogging I feel lost, out of my element, out of my space. Wow, who knew? Who knew that work could be this fun? I do now realize that rest and relaxation is relative.
I know I need to sleep now, but blogging is almost as relaxing, because I get a chance to share and release my inner thoughts about what is important to me and so many others. I believe that we should all have the privilege to enjoy our work as much. That is my wish for all my readers. Love what you do or do what you love. It may not be easy getting there. It was not easy for me either, but I am here because of sheer determination. Dream. Don't give up on your dreams. Dreams are a beautiful thing.
Others may make fun of your ambition but don't let that stop you from moving forward and pressing on to the finish line. What makes life worth living if it is no fun? Have fun and dream your biggest, wildest dreams. There is no limit to what you can do when connected to the source of life. Wake up tomorrow and realize that yes you can. Whatever it is that you have been wanting to obtain, tell yourself that yes you can. Now that is a beautiful thing.
Happy Thanksgiving. Don't forget to give thanks because someone is listening. Be grateful for today and tomorrow. If you have a thousand tomorrows always give thanks. Now that is a beautiful thing. Don't let others steal or smash your dreams. Remember the bible character Joseph, he was thrown into a pit and sold into slavery because his brothers hated his dream? Guard them with all your heart and a lot of prayer. Have faith and proceed to give something back to those less fortunate than you are.
Give a car. Give a hug. Give a prayer. Give love to a stranger. Give a job. It will all come back to you in ways that you can not fathom. God is watching. Let us love one another. Now that is a beautiful thing. Develop your spiritual beauty from the inside out and watch how you blossom into your most beautiful self. Someone, somewhere will be glad you did and so will you.
